Troy Chapman

Troy is a Ngalia man from Walkatjurra (Leonora), where he lived and worked as both a ranger and artist. In 2015, his dedication and talent were recognized when he won the Leonora Art Prize.

Since relocating to Blackstone with his partner, Troy has continued to develop his painting practice.

Troy has been painting with Papulankutja Artists since 2024. His work reflects his deep connection to his Walkatjurra homelands, capturing the vibrancy of Ngalia stories and the enduring spirit of the Central Desert.
